Krishna Gana Sabha (KGS, for short) is one of Chennai’s oldest and premier cultural institutions with presence and reputation across India and the globe. Since its inception in 1953, Krishna Gana Sabha has played host to over 15,000 events across music, dance, theatre, and discourses, fostering amongst artistes and arts lovers, a sense of belonging and community.

With a keen understanding and appreciation of the Indian performing arts, and consistently nurturing a quality of discernment for arts that are of the highest callibre combined with a sense of open-mindedness to encourage artistes with promise and potential, Krishna Gana Sabha continues to retain its position as a Sabha that is committed to the arts.
