A marquee festival of Krishna Gana Sabha, the Pongal Dance Festival was conceived and curated with an intent to showcase young and upcoming talent from all classical dance forms which includes, Barathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kathakali, Odissi, Manipuri, Kathak, Kuchipudi and Sattriya. Our Sabha has been the pioneer in bringing together all dance forms under one roof.

For over a decade, curated by Smt Anitha Guha, this annual festival features 40 young budding artistes chosen by their gurus to present them under the auspicious banner of the Krishna Gana Sabha. Gurus of classical dance forms endorse their best disciples to partcicipate, also giving them an entry to perform at the Pongal Dance Festival each January, providing a platform for emerging artists.
